Composition and dance: Jurij Konjar
Konjar’s work process began after he came across Steve Paxton’s performance ofGoldberg Variationsin a video by Walter Verdin. After exploring Steve’s dance through its reconstruction, Konjar used what he learnedto createa dance of his own.
Jurij Konjar has a background in Judo and in ballroom dance competitions. He studied musicals in London and contemporary dance at PARTS in Brussels. Among his works are:Catharsis for Beginners, the Ulysses Project and Goldberg Variations.
